Ever since the introduction of Obamacare, hundreds to thousands of insurers have already applied to get in. However, not all of them make it to the website. UnitedHealthGroup Inc had to exert the extra effort of making an app for it. Blue Cross Blue Shield also did the same thing.
Other health insurers have drafted several insurance plans just to make their services a lot more attractive to the public. There are already loads of companies and plans in the system. They cannot afford to just slack off and let them be searched.
They will have to up their game to make sure that the public notices their services. It is not just a matter of affordability. An urgent care clinic will really be more efficient with these new introductions.
Good News for Both Parties
Both the consumers and the suppliers are happy with whatever is happening in the Affordable Care Act program. This is already telling that the speculations regarding the downfall of the system are not going to happen. Before, they were not expecting a lot of players to come into play because of the lack of transparency in the urgent care offers.
The growing number of health insurers that joined the cause proves otherwise. Other insurance companies have voiced out their interest to join, too.
What is better is that the government is very picky when it comes to approving. They are taking their time to make sure that they have assessed everything already. They just cannot say yes to any urgent care near me who wants to be insurers.
