Brisbane, Australia – Kathy Jackson is in deep trouble after the Royal Commission finds about her spending when she headed the Health Services Union.
They found out that the funds were used in different materials that are not supposed to be in the list. Hundreds of dollars went to questionable dinners, hotel reservations, and even top of the line champagnes.
There were also claims that thousands of dollars were channeled to a malicious outside bank account. They are still investigating on the whereabouts of the money that should have gone to the urgent care near me. Experts are already looking through different bank records. There are also accountants involved in the huge investigation.
Kathy Jackson Denies the Allegations
Kathy Jackson firmly says that she is not involved in any of this. She has denied doing any corrupt acts. However, the investigation shows otherwise. They are yet to officially release statements on what the punishments would be.
Meanwhile, they saw money transfers from 2004 – 2010. They found out that the commission sent employee compensations to anomalous organizations. Moreover, these organizations were seen to be directed by Jackson and her husband.
Urgent care clinics were not the only things she spent on. There was also a $986 hotel room reservation at the Hotel Bellagio. Include the Moet, Veuve, and other alcoholic drinks in the receipt when she checked out.
Kathy Jackson Is Not the Only One
There are other names involved in this huge case. Kathy Jackson is not the only seen to get the funds from urgent care to channel to her personal spending. Other officials of the organization are in question, as well.
All of them are charged with the same anomaly – that they are corrupt. There are spending seen on perfume, gasoline, and other personal belongings that are not in any way relation to a health care or urgent care clinic.
Most of them are in the finance department of the union. They have been handling the money so they should have the idea where it went during the seat of Kathy Jackson. They should have reviewed the transactions properly or at least questioned it right there and then.
The last thing that the health care department needs is a corrupt leader. If proven, Kathy Jackson will have to pay for this not just through expulsion in the service but could also be jailed. Do you think she really did it?
