Vancouver, Canada – Health Canada wants the full disclosure from patients to ensure a better line of medicines for the patients.
They are currently collecting stories to enhance their production. These experiences from the public can easily tell them the best and worst things about the medicines. This is done primarily to solve the shortage of drugs. This has been an on-going problem that they will need to solve fast. Urgent care is definitely needed for this issue.
They will also be tapping pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and patients for this agenda. It will not really take long. They will only be dealing with for five weeks until they already do something about it.
Taking the Matters to the Internet for Ease
Health Canada has already created a website long ago. This could be the main system that they will use for this function, as well. Urgent care clinics can easily post their concerns about the drug shortage.
The only problem is that the whole cause is voluntary. They cannot really do something about the issues that are not posted on the website. This means that issues that are not voiced out will not be attended. Pharmacists and even a typical urgent care clinic cannot live through this. What if no one will post?
The Huge Problem in the Shortage of Drugs
It is not going to be easy. Health Canada has been working with this issue for decades now, 10 years exactly. An urgent care near me will say that this issue is getting worse by the year. Before, there were only very few illnesses where drugs are a problem. Now, there are more than a couple of them on the list.
Among them are cancer-related drugs, pain killers, even vitamins B12. The most common culprit is demographics. There have been shifts in the location of the companies. Plus, there are manufacturing issues that are no longer controlled by the government. They are also looking at calamities that instantly increase the demand for medicines.
Chinese and Indian manufacturers are having problems with their supply, as well. If these issues cannot be fixed, the country is going to face more serious problems. They will have to lobby longer for more drugs.
