The chief medical officer of England, Dame Sally Davies, declared that mental health prioritization must be pushed through.
Davies claimed that doubled funding protection must be provided to the mental health sector. She also disclosed that funding cuts are traced when the economy of England is on the rise.
She believes that mental health is not just about depression, anxiety, or psychological dysfunction. The annual report she presented exhibited a loss of 70 million working days during the previous year. Since 2009, this is an increase at 24%.

She recommended that companies should provide workers with mental problems an option of having flexible hours shift.
