New York City – Fallon Health have partnered with a senior services provider in New York as a step to expand its services in different parts of the country.
This by the way is the Worchester-based insurer’s latest expansion which four years ago have also partnered with Virginia’s Inova Health System.
According to Patrick Hughes, President and CEO of Fallon Health, the company had its strategic plan over the last few years which are a component of growth and expansions from partnerships with other service providers and urgent care clinics in the country.
To help with the expansion project of the senior services provider, the organization went through a rebranding from Fallon Community Health Plan to the current name last February. The directors of the organization have since then looked for potential partners to would provide them aid in creating its own programs and expanding them.
While the organization president said that expansion includes efforts into the commercial health insurance in Massachusetts, the expansion in various states in the country have been mainly made possible through partnerships with providers of health care products.
The latest partnership with a New York-based senior services provider should help transform the Total Aging in Place Program that helps in having seniors stay in their own homes into a joint effort with the insurer. Fallon will offer help to the program and guide it in extending the services further into Niagara and Erie counties under the new name which would then be ‘Fallon Health Weinberg’.
One senior who was interviewed about the expansion said that the move would help a lot for elderly like him whenever they need urgent care near me and they are thankful about this program but still hopes for more improved services”.
The Weinberg campus’ program called All -inclusive Care for the Elderly will also be expanded by Fallon bringing access to the program that looks for community services to get urgent care for the elderly instead of just going ahead and making them stay in nursing homes.
Of course, Fallon is also working hard to expand the same All-inclusive Care for the Elderly program in Massachusetts and it just lately opened an urgent care clinic in Springfield. It’s even working on another one that should be opened in the Lowell area soon.
While Fallon Health expands senior programming into New York, CEO and President of the organization said that it will continue to actively pursue a comprehensive portfolio approach to the market.
